Gilmore Claude Reddy, Jr.

Mr. Gilmore Claude Reddy, Jr., 57, of Blackshear, passed away Wednesday afternoon, April 3, 2024, at Memorial Satilla Health in Waycross.

Born in Augusta, GA on October 16, 1966, he had lived in Kite, GA prior to moving to Pierce County in 2022.  Mr. Reddy had worked in construction and maintenance work all his life.  He loved to work on cars and enjoyed listening to music.  He will be remembered for always joking around and having fun.

He was a son of the late Eva Mae Odom Waters.  He was also preceded in death by a daughter, April Davis, and by a sister, Eva Mae Waters.

Survivors include his daughter, Stephanie (Perfecto) Hernandez of Kite; three sons, Bryant Reddy of Kite and Leland Reddy and Austin Reddy both of North Carolina; his father, Gilmore Claude Reddy, Sr. of Blackshear; a sister, Joann (Van) Phan of Largo, FL; two brothers, Andrew (Leslie) Reddy of Texas and Eddie Waters of Swainsboro; 9 grandchildren, Ariela Mora, Maria Mora, Jose Hernandez, Sophia Hernandez, Vanessa Davis, Carlos Campos, Karla Davis, Sebastian Camino, and Leo Gabriel; a great grandchild, Juan Miguel Mendez; his companion, Jennifer Hernandez of Blackshear; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

The family will have a memorial service for Mr. Reddy at a later date.

Memorialization is by cremation.
